The roleScento sells perfume decants and niche perfume samples to customers in 27 European markets, and monthly decant sales on Scento.com in September 2026 were 3.2 times those of January 2026. The next stage of that curve needs one leader who owns the whole growth system rather than a single channel.
As VP Growth Europe you report directly to the founder and CEO and set one shared plan for acquisition, conversion, retention and new-market launches. Success means a clear plan every quarter, budgets that follow CAC and payback, a faster experimentation cadence, and peak seasons, from the perfume advent calendar to gifting, that land in every market.
What you'll do
- Own Scento's growth strategy and targets across 27 European markets, from first click to repeat purchase.
- Lead the heads of performance marketing, SEO and AI search, CRM and lifecycle, and partnerships, and bring them onto one growth plan.
- Allocate a large multi-channel acquisition budget across Meta, Google, TikTok, creators and affiliates against CAC and payback targets.
- Run the experimentation programme on the storefront and checkout together with product and data.
- Shape seasonal peaks such as the perfume advent calendar and the gifting season across every market.
- Report growth to the founder and turn data into weekly decisions.
Salary: €190,000 – €250,000 gross per year, full-time, permanent contract, plus an annual performance bonus.
Location: Paris or Berlin, or remote from anywhere in the EU.

- 10+ years in growth or marketing, including 4+ years leading growth at a fast-scaling D2C or e-commerce business in Europe.
- A proven record of scaling paid and organic channels across several European countries and languages.
- Strong commercial and analytical judgement: unit economics, CAC, LTV and cohort thinking.
- Experience leading senior managers, and fluent English; French or German is a strong plus.

Scento is Europe's largest perfume decant website. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Paris on Place Vendôme, with a second office in Berlin, Scento offers more than 1,000 original designer and niche perfumes from a roster of 200 houses as perfume decants: 2 ml, 5 ml and 8 ml vials plus a 30 ml bottle on most perfumes. Niche perfume samples and designer fragrance samples let people discover a scent before they commit to a full bottle.
